About JNV East Godavari-2
In accordance with the New Education Policy of 1986, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for each District was established during the year 1987 in the rural areas of the country.
The Ministry of Human Development, Government of India has approved the opening of 20 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in the districts having large concentration of SC and ST population . Accordingly this JNV is an additional one for the district of khammam (Before re organization of State AP Act), and after re organization of state, this JNV is allied with East Godavari (Dist) of AP. It was sanctioned and established during the year October 2009.
It is situated 10 km from Bhadrachalam town and 200 Km from Kakinada(Head Quarters) .The Vidyalaya is possessing required Infrastructure and committed, talented acharyas. This JNV is in the calm and serene environment with the provision for academic Atmosphere.
