Smart Classroom project has been initiated in Navodaya Vidyalayas as a part of Samsung Company’s CSR initiative of giving back to the community. This project will help in bridging the Digital Divide in the country and in improving the quality of education in Govt. Schools. This Samsung Smart Classroom project will help the teacher and student to enhance the quality of education, to instill the habit of e-learning and making the learning experience engaging and interesting with multimedia.

This library is established in the year 1988. Library is in a big room. The library functions on all working days of the government. The library had functioned with open access facility to the students and staff for several years. The library is having 11,950 volumes as per Accession Register worth of Rs.15,00,000/- excluding the value of gift books, bound periodicals and non-book materials. The net stock is 10,839.

Vidyalaya is having well equipped computer Lab with a broadband internet connection. The lab is having network and internet facility The lab is used for ICT based teaching-leaning process. The students perform practical of computer science subject under the guidance and supervision of computer teachers. Students are using computer lab to prepare projects also. The computer lab is maintained by the FCSA.

Games & Sports have been a vital component of JNVs to ensure all round development of students. The importance of sports and games in schools encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. It not only helps to improve academic performance but it is also a powerful tool for promoting leadership, team work skills and social cohesion. Games and Sports are encouraged in JNVs to develop fitness, psychomotor skills and fine tune motorskills with coordination, movement, strength, dexterity, grace, speed skills and to promote the spirit of cooperation and sportsman.

Chemistry Laboratory in JNV West Godavari is well equipped with modern equipments like heating arrangement of burners, distillation apparatus, racks containing glass bottles of Chemicals, test tubes, beakers, funnel, titration, flasks etc. In chemistry lab 40 students can perform experiments at a time. Chemistry lab is also equipped with models related to various topics for easy understanding of the topic.
