The importance of sports and games in schools encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. Games and Sports are encouraged in JNVs to develop fitness, psychomotor skills and fine tune motorskills with coordination, movement, strength, dexterity, grace, speed skills and to promote the spirit of cooperation and sportsman.

Chemistry Laboratory in JNV West Godavari is well equipped with modern equipments like heating arrangement of burners, distillation apparatus, racks containing glass bottles of Chemicals, test tubes, beakers, funnel, titration, flasks etc. In chemistry lab 40 students can perform experiments at a time. Chemistry lab is also equipped with models related to various topics for easy understanding of the topic.
