Regular cleanliness is an integral part of activities of JNV, Konark to ensure a pleasant campus free of diseases, odour etc.  Both the staff and students are involved in the continuous cleanliness drive in addition to the regular and Daily wage sweepers/ cleaners monitored by staff nurse / HMs/ AHMs/ Vice- Principal/ Principal.

1. Cleanliness of dormitories, classrooms inside and outside.
2. Cleanliness of bath rooms and Toilets.
3. Cleanliness of sewage lines.
4. Regular bush clearance to avert the threat f snakes and other poisonous creatures.
5. Regular campus cleaning lawn maintenance.
6. Regular Mess cleaning/bleaching of dining area /kitchen/stores etc.
7. Sensitization of students to keep the dormitories, classrooms neat and clean.
8. Discouraging use of plastics in Vidyalaya campus.
9. Use of dustbins/ waste segregation into Bio degradable and non- bio degradables
10. Recycling of wastes into different kinds like compost.
