Welcome to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Korea, a co-educational residential Vidyalaya situated in Navodaya Nagar a village near Baikunthpur, head quarters of District Korea, in the state of Chhattisgarh.
JNV Korea was established in the year 2006. Initially it was functioning in Sri Ramanuja Hr. Sec. School, Baikunthpur, The Vidyalaya shifted to permanent building on 8th September 2010 inaugurated by Smt. Sonia Gandhi, and honorable HRD minister Sri. Kapil Sibal online from New Delhi at sight of our honorable member of parliament of Korba, Dr. Charandas Mahant at Navodaya Nagar in Baikunthpur situated two sides covered with the River Gaze, which is a life-line of Baikunthpur and also blessed by beautiful hills and woods. 

               There is no doubt that J.N.V Korea is one of the leading institutes of the state, which is acknowledged by all in the nearby areas as a model school.

                 Admission to Vidyalayas is made at the class VI level through open test conducted at District level by Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The Vidyalayas seek to promote and develop talented, bright and gifted children predominantly from rural areas who may otherwise be denied good educational opportunities. The Vidyalaya provides facilities of international standards at no cost, in comparison to equivalent schools both nationally & internationally, with substantial contribution to the advancement of knowledge.

              The Vidyalaya prides in its sophisticated infrastructure which provide the motivating environment to learning atmosphere. The school building providing classrooms, Laboratories, a computer room, a library, display areas, administrative and faculty rooms. The entry extends on to a platform which acts as a stage during assembly. Side entrances provide access for residential wings. There are hostels which are designed to have good security with closed internal courtyard for outdoor living and passive recreation.
