PM SHRI JNV Chitradurga came into existence in the year 1987 with a vision of nurturing the rural talent with special focus on their holistic development so that each student will develop a stong character based on moral and ethical values with a deep passion in pursuit of academic excellence. 

        We transform the students who otherwise lack the facility of quality modern education to responsible enlightened citizens equipped with the life skills to face the challenges of the rapidly changing world. 

       This Vidyalaya provides a living place that shapes the multifaceted development of the child and to channalize their potential to set a clear and achievable goal.  The abilities of each child need to be identified and encouraged by providing a platform to explore and express their skills. For this the collaborative effort of   parents, committed teachers and motivated students are required in a conducive ambience. 

         As you know education is the foundation of all types of progress and girls and boys should get equally well educated. This co-educational system is not to restrict itself to impart bookish knowledge only but inculcate values like compassion, tolerance, courage, secularism, humility, integrity and much more. The students will develop self esteem, self confidence along with emotional balance and intellectual existence.

       Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is keen enough to upgrade and update our teaching fraternity by providing training programme in various facts frequently. They are able to provide the parental care where the student experience safe caring and supportive environment. 

         Then the Vidyalaya equip the students to become responsible, balanced and mature adults who are able to contribute to build up modern India and to safeguard it most effectively.
