About JNV UNAKOTI
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Machmara, Unakoti is running successfully at temporary site in Machhmara, Unakoti district, Tripura under the able leadership of Mr. Gunpal Singh Punia. It is a fully resdential system . At present there are 186 students ( 116 boys and 70 girls) from class (6th - 10th). All subject teachers are well qualified and experienced. PET, GAMES, YOGA , COMPUTER, ART, MUSIC are in the daily routine. School starts at 5:15 am till 10.00 pm. The vidyalaya is located on the outskirts of UNAKOTI, an adminstrative district, about 40 kilometres to the North of state . It is the least populated district of Tripura, with the fourth highest literacy rate. The district has a total of two sub divisions and four blocks. The district was created in 2012 by bifurcatting the North Trupura district with its headquarter in kailashahar.
The nearest major ralway station is Dharmanagar which is about 40 kilometres away. Not only does it connects to all the major cities in Tripura , but also links all the sizeable states of India. The other nearest railway stations are Pecharthal and Kumarghat which are located within a range 10 to 17 kilometre s. From these railway stations, taxis and buses are easily available to take one to the Vidyalaya.
Nearest Airport is Agartala. It is a domestic airport situated approx. 160 km from JNV at North Agartala , the capital of Tripura. Special attention may be drawn to a few amenities available in the immediate surroundings of Vidyalaya. All the major goverment offices and establishment, police station ,post office , hospital, dispensary , college, higher secondary school etc. are located within the proximity of 8 to 10 km . Being located on the outskirts of the least populated district of Trupura, the school is quite free from pollution and city hussles. It provides comfortable and engaging learning environment which fosters holistic development for students. The main objective of this vidyalaya is to provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from rural areas .

लड़के और 70 लड़कियाँ) हैं। सभी विषय शिक्षक सुयोग्य एवं अनुभवी हैं। पालतू जानवर, खेल, योग, कंप्यूटर, कला, संगीत दैनिक
दिनचर्या में हैं। स्कूल सुबह 5:15 बजे शुरू होकर रात 10 बजे तक चलता है। विद्यालय राज्य के उत्तर में लगभग 40 किलोमीटर दूर,
एक प्रशासनिक जिले, उनाकोटी के बाहरी इलाके में स्थित है। यह त्रिपुरा का सबसे कम आबादी वाला जिला है, जहां साक्षरता दर चौथी
सबसे अधिक है। जिले में कुल दो उपमंडल और चार ब्लॉक हैं। यह जिला 2012 में उत्तरी ट्रुपुरा जिले को विभाजित करके बनाया गया था
और इसका मुख्यालय कैलाशहर में था।
निकटतम प्रमुख रेलवे स्टेशन धर्मनगर है जो लगभग 40 किलोमीटर दूर है। यह न केवल त्रिपुरा के सभी प्रमुख शहरों से जुड़ता है,
बल्कि भारत के सभी बड़े राज्यों को भी जोड़ता है। अन्य निकटतम रेलवे स्टेशन पेचारथल और कुमारघाट हैं जो 10 से 17 किलोमीटर
की दूरी के भीतर स्थित हैं। इन रेलवे स्टेशनों से विद्यालय तक जाने के लिए टैक्सियाँ और बसें आसानी से उपलब्ध हैं।
निकटतम हवाई अड्डा अगरतला है। यह लगभग स्थित एक घरेलू हवाई अड्डा है। त्रिपुरा की राजधानी, उत्तरी अगरतला में जेएनवी से 160
किमी दूर। विद्यालय के निकटवर्ती परिवेश में उपलब्ध कुछ सुविधाओं पर विशेष ध्यान आकर्षित किया जा सकता है। सभी प्रमुख सरकारी
कार्यालय और प्रतिष्ठान, पुलिस स्टेशन, डाकघर, अस्पताल, औषधालय, कॉलेज, उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय आदि 8 से 10 किमी की
निकटता में स्थित हैं। ट्रुपुरा के सबसे कम आबादी वाले जिले के बाहरी इलाके में स्थित होने के कारण, स्कूल प्रदूषण और शहर की हलचल
से काफी मुक्त है। यह आरामदायक और आकर्षक शिक्षण वातावरण प्रदान करता है जो छात्रों के समग्र विकास को बढ़ावा देता है। इस विद्यालय
का मुख्य उद्देश्य मुख्य रूप से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के प्रतिभाशाली बच्चों को अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली आधुनिक शिक्षा प्रदान करना है।
