School Playground is important part of the school. Children like to play and this also refresh the mind of child. There are three playgrounds in the school campus. Various type of athletic activities and sports held there.

NVS has adopted “zero tolerance policy’ as regard safety and security of students. Comprehensive guidelines have been issued in this regard time to time. Principals and Teachers have been educated about the importance of safety and security of children through various induction courses and the outcome has been found to be good.

A full time Staff Nurse is appointed in each JNV to deal with emergency. It has been approved to appoint part-time doctors to visit JNVs for two hours every day on all working days on payment of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month in respect of – (a) All JNVs located in hard and difficult areas. (b)Other JNVs which are located beyond a distance of 10 kms. from Tehsil Hqrs. and 25 kms. from District Hqrs. (c) In case of lesser number of visits the payment should be reduced on pro-rata basis. (d) In other JNVs, honorarium of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) per month will be paid to the doctor for making 2 visits per week to the Vidyalaya. (e) Additionally, Counsellors/Dentists/Eye Specialists, appointed by the Vidyalaya for the welfare of the students would be paid Rs.1,500/- per Visit. (f) In addition to it facility of Vehicle to respond in case of any emergency is also provided.

Biology lab is altogether equipped with adequate instrument required for conducting practical and other related activities of the subject matter. It is facilitated with projector for ICT based learning, where the theory classes as well as experiments and activities can be perform simultaneously. This is fully cater to the need of junior as well as senior students. It also provides the opportunity to neighboring school to conduct subject related practical under pace setting activities.

To get more knowledge and if have to make assignments there is facility of library in our school . More than eight thousand books collection is over there included story books, general knowledge,Novels,entrance examination preparation reference books and subject books.

Chemistry Lab also available where all types of practical performed with safety.

Physics Lab also available in school where all types of practical performed with safety.

Museum and music lab is also in the school campus. School museum contain various sculptures, to provide the information about the culture and history knowledge. Full time music teacher provide knowledge about various instruments and music. All students equally participate and enjoy the music facility of school. Students participate in various cultural activities in school as well in cluster level.

School also contain small gymnasium for providing facility to students about the gym activities.
