JNV Raigad was established on 12 December 1994 with a single section of class VI initially started in the campus of G.R.Mehta High school and Junior College Nizampur. Vidyalaya is about 1km from Nizampur village and 10km from Mangaon Taluka. Nearest railway station is Mangaon. The place is natural beauty with percolating pond nearby. Vidyalaya provides good quality education.
