Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Puducherry is a fully residential co- educational institution established in the year 1986-87 under Ministry of HRD, Gov. of India. The  vidyalaya  is  taking  every   effort  to  realize  the objectives of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti through its dedicated team of teachers and other staff members. As a result, students excel in academics and is living up to the expectations of parents and society since its inception. JNV is an integral part of all educational initiatives and programmes conducted in the region.

The students who have passed out from the JNV are enrolled in various professional colleges every year.
