MASTER L.MADHU SUDHAN REDDY VISITED JALANDHAR AKAM-EBSBMaster Madhusudhan Reddy of Class X JNV PRAKASAM-1 was selected to visit Paired state PUNJAB. The visit to PUNJAB was from 1st Aug 2022 to 10th Aug 2022. The Student was handed over by the Vidyalaya escort teacher Mr.J.Pavan kumar Counselor, to the teacher in charge of EBSB PROGRAMME at Vijayawada Railway station on 1st August. Selected students from state schools from AP,Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kedriya Vidyalaya, Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM) took part in this programme. The students from the above mentioned institutions were escorted from VIJAYAWADA to JALANDHAR by Smt.SUHASINI Program Co-ordinator and Sri Dr.BHASKAR BABU Asst.Professor of AITAM and Nodal Officer of ESSB. Day-1, August 4th 2022 The students were accorded a grand welcome with Bangra dance and all the contingents were safely escorted to Hostel by a volunteer from Lovely Professional University. Later they visited innovative studio where they visited Go Cart race, Multipadal bus and Drone Simulator. It was followed by inauguration of swearing ceremony where all the contingents were grandly welcomed. Addressing on the occasion, the Member Secretary and Chairman of AICTCE urged the students to learn and imbibe ethics and values of Punjab state. Later they were taken to University Museum where they had an opportunity to visit and see various experiments and projects done by students of different branches of sciences from LPU. Later in the evening they visited Sardar Bhagath Singhs memorial and viewed the Museum. Later they were taken to the ancestral house of S.Bhagath Singh, the freedom fighter. Students were taught some steps of Bangra dance in the school of student welfare in the university. Day-2, August 5th 2022 On the second day, the students were taken to Shanthi devi Mittal sports complex with Squash courts, swimming pools, Gym hall and fire shoot . Here all the students were divided into 10 teams and various games and sports were conducted to enrich the team spirit among students. It was followed by a host of cultural programs presented by the students of LPU. All the students were felicitated by Lari Raj Gupta the Province chancellor of LPU. Thus the Day-2 visit was completed. Day -3, August 6th 2022 On the third day, all the students were taken to The School of Hotel Management and The School of Fashion Degree where the students were divided into 7 teams and they were taught by the chef to make Lachi Parota. Later students were asked to give a seminar on their respective tasks and the team of Master Madhusudhan received prizes. Later on the same day, at the school of fashion design they had a session on preparing Pulkari which means the flower work. As a token of love the students received AKAM badges from the school of Fashion design where the cultural exchange program was conducted by students from Andhra Pradesh. As part of entertainment students were taken to PVR cinemas in Jalandhar and a Punjabi movie Challa Mud Eke Hahi Aayi was shown to them. Day -4, August 7th 2022 Of the entire tour, the most memorable day was the fourth day on which they had the privilege of visiting The Golden Temple, Jallian Wala Bagh, and The Wagha Border. They spent the entire day in Amritsar and on their way back to university they visited Haveli Grand Restaurant where they were exposed to Punjabi village life style culture. Day -5 August 8th 2022 On the last of the program they had an opportunity to visit different departments of LPU such as The School of Agriculture, The school of Bio Technology, The School of Mechanical Engineering and The School of Civil Engineering etc. The Closing ceremony was conducted on the last day in which students were felicitated and certificates were awarded. On this occasion all the students were allowed to share their experiences of this program. Thus the 5 Day AKAM EBSB came to a successful end. The return journey was started on 8th August 2022 and our student Master Madhusudhan Reddy was received by the Vidyalaya Counselor at Vijayawada Railway station and escorted to the Vidyalaya safely. KUMARI M.GEETHANJALI SELECTED TO VEER GATHA 2.0The award giving ceremony of veeragatha 2.0 of this year was held on 25th January 2023with a lot of festivities at the Chanayapuri Auditorium, New Delhi. The chief Guest for the award ceremony was Defence Minister Sir Rajanath Singh. The Minister of State for Defence and Minister of Education were invited as the special guests for the ceremony. Other distinguished guests, all the participants and their parents were present on the occasion. The auditorium hall was filled with people. Good seating arrangements were made. Participants from across the country from different regions took part in this function. Around 12o clock the programme started. Participants were made to sit according to the category wise in their respective seats. It was the feast for the eyes to see galaxy of ministers under one roof. Participants felt very happy to be the part of felicitation programme. The auditorium reverberated with applause when the ceremony started. Eventually, the 25 participans were felicitated by the ministry of Defence and also 10,000 cash prize was credited to their accounts. Participants were over whelmed to receive the honor in the form of award and cash prize. After felicitating the participants, honourable defence minister delivered an inspiring speech on the veergatha programme. He appreciated the great efforts put by the participants of various categories in presenting their ideas in the form of art, poem, video and paragraph. He also appreciated the active participation of students from categories like 3rd grade 5th grade, 6th grade 8th grade, 9th grade-10th grade and 11th grade 12th grade. Finally, the programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Sri DK Roy, Joint Secretary, CBSE. I express my profound gratitude to CBSE authorities for selecting me and making all arrangements for receiving the award. I thank Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and JNV Prakasam-1 authorities for giving me an opportunity to participate in the award ceremony and also witness the Republic day parade the next day. | |||||||||||
