Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chalakurthy Camp, Nalgonda was inaugurated on 22.12.1986 in a temporary building in Chalakurthy Camp. The First Principal of the school was SRI.B.ANANDAM. There after school was shifted to its present location . Science stream for class XII started in 1990-91. From that day onwords the school has been achieving milestones not only in acadmics but in sports also, CCA and Pace Setting activities. It has come forword as a leading organization and model school for the the whole district. Students from the school have been selected in IITs, Medical Collages(MBBS) and in Administrative services.
