This Vidyalaya was established in 1997. It is situated in the lap of nature and surrounded by lofty mountains and forests in two directions and having rugged topography. The JNV could not get single campus but fragmented into three parts having five hundred meters gap. As per the new education policy of 1986 to nurture the rural talent the vidyalaya was established to create cherished value and modern education together. At present we are having Science and Arts stream and children from eleventh taluk of jamui districts mostly from rural, poor and tribal background are getting valuable education and skill. We are having five hundred students accommodation facilities in our residential campus. We are having sufficient class-rooms.
The vidyalaya is producing good result and giving proper guidance to nearby schools. Local community as well as administration provide all guidance and working strategy.
