As a Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya ,Barginagar,District- Jabalpur, I extend hearty welcome to our Vidyalaya Website.Jawahar Navodaya Barginagar, Jabalpur has been a proved beacon in providing good citizen to the society and above all good human beings with the help of a dedicated team of teaching and Non-teaching staff members who uses the supreme art to awaken joy among young learners in creative expression and knowledge. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bariginagar Jabalpur works on student centric approach which offers rewarding educational experiences to all who choose to focus on excellence. It addresses the contemporary needs of the learners by successfully creating a dynamic environment to trigger learning experiences and awakening the natural curiosity of the young minds and thereby facilitating the art of teaching. It aims at the commitments to nurture and equip young learners with the uncommon ability to become confident, sensitive, socially committed and to develop as an all round individuals.

Special feature of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Barginagar,Jabalpur viz 1.To provide qualitative, modern education to rurally oriented talent children.2.To ensure that the students should attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages.3.To serve in the district as a focal point for improvement of quality in school education.Creating the environment to bring out the best among the teachers and the students.4.Adopt modern education techniques and import quality education.5.Freedom of experimentation and innovation.
- We have developed a Resource Room to facilitate the subject teachers for class room transaction by using audio & teaching aids etc. The Vidyalaya library has more than 7000 books for students and staff of the Vidyalaya. Its functioning aims at maximum utilization of library books. Games and Sports department is very rich for facilitating five on average at SGFI level. Pace–Setting, Coaching Camps and tournaments are organized every year regularly. Health department (Clinic) is well equipped. Staff Nurse is the in charge of Health club and Jr. Red Cross Unit also. There are other clubs Reader club, Art club, Literacy club, Science club, philately club, Nature club, Sports club & Computer club, Economics Clubs functioning & special Harmony club is to be started from this year. USO G.K. Test, Maths Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Cyber Olympiad are being given due weightage to encourage students’ maximum participation. Career guidance cell is working. Every year students of class X participate in NTSE and appear for Railways test for career. Maximum number of students of class XII appears for PMT, PET, IIT, NDA etc.
