One of the basic objectives of the Navodaya Vidyalaya scheme has been to enable the JNVs to play the role of a pace setting institution in the field of school education in the respective districts. The aim of the pace setting activities is to “galvanize academic, social, cultural and community oriented environment of schools” in the vicinity.

The Pace Setting activities of the Vidyalaya focuses on  the  functional effectiveness of the students in terms of heritage and culture, democratic outlook, environment protection, scientific and secular outlook and social service to the community.

PROPOSED PACE SETTING ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2022-23

• Mass Medical Check-up
• Participation in COVID vaccination Programme. 3- Exposing students to Mobile

• Literacy campaign in the neighboring
• Participation of outside schools in National Book Week celebration 6- Computer Literacy Programme in Neighborhood schools
• Innovations and experimentations in the teaching-learning process
• Optimum use of Vidyalaya laboratories and library

9-    Counseling, Career Counseling and motivational sessions

• Participation of the students of the neighboring schools in the co-curricular activities of the JNV

11-  Organizing Youth Parliament session and workshops on fine arts and performing art.
