LITERARY DEVELOPMENT IN JNV ERNAKULAM

A workshop on creative writing was organized in JNV Ernakulam from 23 January 2018 to 31 January 2018. All the students actively participated in the workshop. As part of the workshop, selected students were taken for a field trip to different locations on the banks of river Periyar for familiarization and formation of insight.

Renowned Malayalam poet and winner of Kumaranashan Puraskaram 2014, Shri. Sobin Mazhaveedu was invited for the workshop and interacted with the students and informed them about the ingredients of creative writing. The interaction with the poet was very fruitful and the students honed their creative writing skills. All the language teachers were involved actively along with the students and creative teachers. At the end of the seminar, a souvenir was published including all the creative contributions of students.

The students participated in the Cultural Meet held at JNV Banglore Rural and one student, Mast. Shelly D Anissa bagged the First position in the Essay writing Contest.
