At JNV Neriamangalam the attainment of Academic Excellence is never compromised. The school has produced outstanding results in the CBSE board exams. Some of our students have been National Toppers among the Navodayas in the country. A large number of them have won Merit Certificates from CBSE. A good number of our students are recipients of the prestigious National Talent Search Examination scholarship. Three of our students have made it to the National Defence Academy (NDA).

               Academic results have always been a morale booster as the yardstick to assess the performance of any educational institution.  The results of AISSE and AISSCE conducted in March 2020 make the Vidyalaya very distinguished. The vidyalaya achieved tremendous success in AISSCE -2020 with 100 % first classes, 92% distinctions and a school average of 89.53. Further, in AISSE-2020, my school stood first with an impressive performance of 100 % first classes, 96.4% distinctions and a school average of 89.95. In the combined Result Analysis published by NVS comprising Classes X and XII results put together for all JNVs across the nation, my school bagged the coveted National Topper position.

 In the recently published list of India’s Top ten Government Boarding schools by the renowned educational magazine Education World, JNV, Neriamangalam has bagged the sixth position among all Government Boarding schools of India. The various parameters taken into account for arriving at the ranking are Teacher welfare & development,  Competence of faculty, Academic reputation, Co-curricular education, Sports education, Life skills education & conflict management, Individual attention to students, Leadership/Management quality, Safety & hygiene, Infrastructure provision, Internationalism, Pastoral care, Value for money, Community service and CBSE Exam Results.

The Commerce stream topper Mas.Vinayak M Malil, who was also the CBSE Topper of SC/ST students at National level with 493/500, was congratulated by none other than the Hon’ble Prime Minister in his Mann Ki Baat program.It was a moment of pride for the entire vidyalaya.
