It was a crowning moment for the school when the then Principal, Mr. V.S Joseph, was honoured with the National Teacher Award on 5th September 2005. Under his dynamic captaincy and guided by his sky-high ideas and practical wisdom the school team has been able to make achievements after achievements. In fact, JNV Neriamangalam is one of the TOP FIVE among the 598NavodayaVidyalayas in the country.
