Club Activities

The following Activities are proposed to conduct Under the Aegis of different clubs for great emphasis on the extra – curricular activities along with academics. The school offers a plethora of opportunities through various clubs and provides a platform for the overall development of the students. The students are encouraged to choose the clubs according to their interest. They are provided a conducive environment through various activities of the clubs to hone their skills.

(iv)  Preparation of life sketch of eminent musicians.
(v)  Conducting of Solo song, Group song and dance competitions.
(vi)  Practice of patriotic songs.
(vii)  Arranging musical concerts of eminent local musicians.
03. Science Club Actitities Sh. Avinash Agrahari TGT Science (i)  Conducting quiz competitions in Science .
(ii)  Preparation of Biological sketches of eminent scientist.
(iii)  Preparation of charts and models for exhibition.
(iv)  Arranging coaching classes for competitive examinations.
(v)  Maintaining of a display board.
(vi)  Preparation of slides.
(vii)  Collection of locally available specimens.
(viii)  Publication of Science articles in Vidyalaya magazine.
04. Mathematics club Activities Sh. S.K. Nautiyal PGT Maths (i)  Conducting quiz competitions in Maths.
(ii)  Preparation of Biological sketches of eminent mathematicians.
(iii)  Preparation of charts and models for exhibition.
(iv)  Arranging coaching classes for competitive examinations.
(v)  Maintaining of a display board.
(vi)  Preparation of slides.
(vii)  Collection of locally available lab equipments
(viii)  Publication of Science & Maths articles in Vidyalaya magazine
05. History Club Activities  Sh. Ajaz Ahmad PGT History (i)  Collection of photographs and old paper cuttings related to national   freedom struggle.
(ii)  Coin and stamp collection.
(iii)  Arranging lectures of prominent public representatives educationists /   freedom fighters.
(iv)  Conducting various surveys.
(v)  Publication of articles in Vidyalaya magazine.
(vi)  Collection of materials with an objective to set up a museum corner.
06. Language Club Activities Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi PGT English (i)  Conducting essay and poem writing competition.
(ii)  Arranging speech, extempore speech and debate competitions.
(iii)  Enacting of drama and skits.
(iv)  Preparation of wall magazine.
(v)  Maintaining of a board to highlight new words, its usage, grammar and   structural items and language puzzles.
(vi)  Editing Vidyalaya magazine.
07. Health & AEP Club Activities Ms. Reshu Vasnik Staff Nurse (i)  Regular Health checkup of students.
(ii)  Monitoring PT, Exercise, Yoga.
(iii)  Allotting the students proper time for using Gym.
(iv)  Conducting Health Camps
(v)  Maintenance & supervision of Health cards.
(vi)  Conducting regular Battery tests
(vii)  Guiding the students for suitable games as per their ability
(viii)  Conducting various sports & games meet.
(ix)  AEP Club Program is to create an adolescent friendly environment; that   would facilitate and promote well being of adolescents.
08. Readers’ Club Activities Sh. S.K.Singh Librarian (i)  Preparing the book review.
(ii)  Maintaining a bulletin board.
(iii)  Subscribing selected periodicals in addition to regular ones.
(iv)  Conducting workshops on book binding, classification of articles published   in various newspapers.
(v)  Conducting seminars
09. Literary and Communication Club Smt.  Manju Garbyal TGT English (i)  Search to new vocabulary. 
(ii)  To enhance public speaking skills.
(iii)  To improve communication skills.
(iv)  To develop learning, speaking, reading and writing skills
(v)  Getting rid of stage fear and developing self confidence. The aim of the   club is to inculcate among students a fondness for language and enhance   their literary skills.
(vi)  It helps them groom their personalities so that they feel confident about   themselves.
(vii)  Communication Club is a group of students who strive to connect with the   community on and off campus.
(viii)  Our mission is to provide a supportive and positive club experience in   which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership   skills while having a good time.

(i)  Healthy mind resides in a healthy body’, Keeping this in mind, Sports   Club emphasizes on physical fitness
(ii)  Students are trained for different sports according to their interest. 
(iii)  They are encouraged to develop the capacity to make reasoned decisions   about sport issues and to work effectively within a group toward common   goals.
(iv)  The importances of team spirit, discipline and leadership qualities are   fostered among the students.
11. Science and Technology Club & Nature Club Sh. A.P SINGH PGT Chemistry (i)  The main objective of this club is to introduce world’s rich scientific   heritage to the youth in order to kindle scientific temperament within   them and to identify and appreciate students with flair for science and   technology. 
(ii)  It helps to motivate the young generation to take up science as a career   and encourage them to contribute towards UAE vision 2022. 
(iii)  It also aims to inculcate the children with moral values in life.
(iv)  To arouse general awareness among the students regarding the different   environmental problems which are of major concern to the better future   and survival of mankind.
