A well equipped and well managed library in the foundation of modern education. As you all know library is the heart of every education institution. The library in our Vidyalaya also serves the students right from class vi-xii along with both the faculty of science and humanity. Library is a “trinity” i.e. books, readers and staff. Besides textbooks, more then 10,600(ten thousand six hundred) library books are available in our library. Some activities are performed to make our library the centre of education, learning and culture. 1. Story books, comics, novels and detectives are issued in three language formula i.e. English, Hindi and Odia to all the students for creating a reading habit among them. 2. Book binding activities are also done in our library to make all the books in proper shape.

Mess is an integral part of JNV. Our mess has a modern and clean kitchen. It provides hygienic, delicious prepared under the direction of well qualified and experienced catering staff. It has two dining halls, one for boys and another one for girls. There is a tender system for the procurement of raw materials. Indents are placed to the suppliers well in advance, which when supplied are received by a committee comprised of teachers, non teachers and students. This system helps in transparency and quality control. There is a mess committee meeting held on 30th of every month, headed by the principal. Here all the pros and cons of the mess are discussed and a weekly menu is prepared by the students with the help of the house masters and guided by vice-principal and principal. Safety measures Food is tasted by the staff nurse before it serves to the children. We are proud of our mess.

Our JNV provides two E-Classrooms like Computer lab and Smart Class that is a solution designed to help teachers in meeting with new challenges and developing students abilities. It helps the teachers to access multimedia content and information ,that can be used for teaching students more effectively. It helps the teachers in expressing their views and ensures teacher that every student is understanding and learning. Smart Class helps the students in understanding the concepts. A well designed module allows a student to visualize the concept much better than static images.

Playgrounds can provide different opportunities to stimulate physical development for children of all ages, for example slides and swings promote balance and coordination, climbing frames strengthen their muscles, and tactile panels help with hand-eye skills.Our JNV provides Basketball playground separate for both boys and girls. For games like Volleyball, football and badminton playground is provided well equipped with net facility as well as a common large playground for conducting different games and sports event.

In our JNV chemistry laboratory is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts studied in the lecture portion of the course, as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking. All practicals an assignments for class IX-XII are performed as per PAP guidelines.

In our Vidyalaya good and well maintain hostel are available for both boys and girls. All facility like for Drinking water good quality aqua guard is installed, Regularly two to three time water is provide through sintax , for bath and other purpose etc. Multitasking worker are clean the dormitories toilet, bathroom, surrounding of the hostel regularly. Every Friday a dormitories cleaning competition is organized, to clean and make hygiene within the students. Judge (staff) decide the winner and give award in the next morning assembly. A beautiful garden also present in front of the hostel, students are clean and maintain every Sunday.
