The biology laboratory is a modern research infrastructure, providing a broad range of biological and biochemical techniques with in-depth practical training offered by experienced staff. Important routine work is on microbial and molecular analyses and biological sample preparation in general. JNV Bellary Provides Several special Experiments to be conducted as per PAP from classes-VI to XII. All these techniques ground on long standing expertise and a well-equipped facility (high precision scale, photometers, Fast Prep, Casey Cell counter and more). In addition to the basic tasks such as providing bench space or experimental setups in the constant temperature room, the biological laboratories offers some specialized working areas.

CHEMISTRY Laboratory The chemistry department in the Vidyalaya is full fledged with all infrastructure and basic amenities for plus two levels. It has the following facilities. 1. Permanent six working tables with a gas connection and water facilities.

The full strength of Jawahar Navodya Vidyalayas is 560 students with hostel facility for all. In a residential school, the students are expected to learn living habits with self-sufficiency, discipline, dignity of labour and sharing attitude. Their living accommodation should, therefore, induce the right atmosphere besides providing natural light, ventilation, physical and visual spaciousness. The tropical climatic conditions in our country are an important consideration in the design of the hostel. The children do not face the space constraints in hostel. Neither a strong pattern alien to their life style is imposed on them. That is why the physical form of the hostel is kept simple but highly efficient from functional point of view. There are 6 hostels, each accommodating 96 students, 4 for boys and 2 for girls.

The vidyalaya provides all sorts of facilities to the children. The class rooms are well furnished. These is a Resource Room where most of the classes taken by the teachers with the help of audio-visuals and computers. There is an attractive computer lab with 30-32 computers and Samsung smart class with 41 laptops supervised by Faculty-cum-System-Administrator and PGT-IT and well built unit of laboratory, with modern equipments. The school library provides extra information subscribing various news papers, magazines, study materials and it has wonderful collection of 10000 plus different books. The art, SUPW and Physical education function in our with creditable achievements. With collaboration of The Hindu an English Daily, almost 200 students subscribe Hindu news paper on a marginal rate. Various activities towards promotion of organ and tissue donation namely National Webinar, Cyclothon, Walkathon, Organ donation pledging and National Slogan competition through Government of India’s digital platform, MyGov have been initiated. ... This year 2023, the Indian Organ Donation Day resolution is “Donate Organs, Save Lives”, a national call to enhance awareness about deceased brain stem death and organ donation, debunk common myths and misconceptions about organ donation and motivate the citizens to donate organs and tissues after death, as well as to internalize the values of organ donation in their life.
