JNV Visakhapatnam is located in in the City Visakhapatnam is one of the main tourism destinations in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The city is famous for beaches, caves and the Eastern Ghats as well as wildlife sanctuaries. About 30% of the city is covered with greenery. The nearest airport is Visakhapatnam Airport 28 Km. and the nearest Railway Station is Visakhapatna Railway Station about 18 Kms. Away from the Vidyalaya. The District Headquarter of JNV Visakhapatnam is Visakhapatnam about 15 Kms away from the Vidyalaya. The Climatie condition of the District is Moderate temperature with 50-75% humidity in the air.
The Vidyalaya has a good academic record in previous years in the Board class examination. There are one Samsung Smart classroom with internet connectivity, two NCC units and Scouts and guides activities are regularly and effectively carried out. Subject committee meetings and Club activities are conducted systematically to strengthen the scientific and literary skills of the students. The Vidyalaya host one VMC meeting and a VAC meetings every academic year. The Swachh Bharath activities are also going on effectively.
