  Academic year 2023-24 is going to start with new challenges and opportunities
for excellence in many elds. JNVs being pace setting institution have to be the front
runners in designing the Annual plan of Activities and implementation of the same.
The Perspective Academic Plan, a basic handbook gives the strategic road map to
ensure effective teaching learning process alongwith monitoring & supervision by the
eld functionaries.
For Implementation of NEP 2020 in JNVs, a comprehensive plan at every level is
essential. Effective utilization of human resources with distributed responsibilities
and commitment towards achieving organizational goals is to be done at each level.
Bringing the pedagogical perfection to suit the demand of NEP-2020 is the focal point
and strategies are to be planned and implemented in a systematic manner. It is a
matter of pleasure to release the Perspective Academic plan for the session 2023-24,
which is the outcome of sincere and dedicated efforts by Ofcers, Principals &
Teachers of NVS. This document will help in the effective functioning of the JNVs. The
pedagogical plan, competency based education, introduction to skill subjects at all
levels, updating the knowledge and strategies of teachers through training have been
given due place in this document which will facilitate all functionaries at eld level.
UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution and declared 2023 as
'International Year of Millets (IYOM)'. NVS is committed towards creating awareness
about benets of Millets through JNVs among students, staff and in the
neighbourhood.
'Mission LiFE'- i.e. Lifestyle for Environment was introduced by Hon'ble Prime
Minister as a mass movement for practicing a lifestyle, which aims at protection of our
environment. JNV students and staff have a signicant role in protecting the
environment by practicing a lifestyle, which do not harm the environment.
Let us join hands together to make NVS an ideal institution in implementing
NEP 2020 in true spirit with a commitment towards excellence.
