In physics class, lab is central. Integral. Sacred. More than a mere place in the back of the classroom, the laboratory is the place where physics students do physics. It is in the laboratory that physics students learn to practice the activities of scientists - asking questions, performing procedures, collecting data, analyzing data, answering questions, and thinking of new questions to explore. |

There are permanent Football ground, Volleyball courts, Basketball courts, Kho-Kho, Kabadi and Handball courts enabling the students to develop their skills in the field of sports and games. Games and Sports are encouraged in JNVs to develop fitness, physical and neuromuscular skills and to promote the spirit of cooperation and sportsman. Apart from the same, young talents are identified at an early stage and are helped to excel in their chosen field by specialized coaching through PETs / SAI Coaches at selected venues. Samiti organizes school level, cluster level, regional level and national level competitions in sports and games every year. Specialized courses like Judo and Gymnastic are also encouraged in some of the JNVs situated in the tribal areas of the country where the same are popular sports. |

With a vision to Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators, Atal Innovation Mission, an initiative of the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), Government Of India, is establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in schools across India. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mind - set, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, rapid calculations, measurements etc. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand what, how and why aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). ATL is a work space where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innovation skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM. ATL would contain educational and learning do it yourself kits and equipment. |

A library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. For an educational institution it is the treasure house and hub for all academic activities. It plays a dominant role in the mobilization of various sources of information for the benefit of the students and staff. For the best and efficient use of library in the Vidyalaya, the following activities are being organized in the Vidyalaya. 1. Update and improve the collection of books and periodicals to set standard & to meet the needs of users. 2. Promotion of reading habit of the students and staff.. 3. Preparation of wall magazines as an inter house competition. 4. Arrangement of newspaper clippings. 5. Story telling Competition. 6. Book review. 7. Book for the day. 8. Book Exhibition. |

Observations and experiments make learning more interesting and fun. Biology lab is well equipped with preserved specimens, slides, models and bio visual charts which emphasize on developing scientific temper among the students. Performing experiment is an interesting task. Students enjoy it as they learn something new from the results. Students of class IX to XII are guided for practicals. Occasionally students of other classes also make use of biology lab for various activities related to general science, which help them to learn new concepts that they have always been thinking about. |
