My self G.Beena of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya TUMKUR District- KARNATAKA, I extend hearty welcome to our Vidyalaya Website.Jawahar Navodaya TUMKUR, TUMKUR has been proved beacon in providing good citizen to the society and above all good human beings with the help of a dedicated team of teaching and Non-teaching staff members who uses the supreme art to awaken joy among young learners in creative expression and knowledge. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya TUMKUR works on student centric approach which offers rewarding educational experiences to all who choose to focus on excellence. It addresses the contemporary needs of the learners by successfully creating a dynamic environment to trigger learning experiences and awakening the natural curiosity of the young minds and thereby facilitating the art of teaching. It aims at the commitments to nurture and equip young learners with the uncommon ability to become confident, sensitive, socially committed and to develop as an all round individuals.

Special feature of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Tumkur, is one of the school of Karnataka Giving good Educational environment for the children of Rural Area of the District TUMKUR. Its is fully residential in setup Remembering the GURUKULA Sytem having classes from 6th to 12th TUmkur is one of the remotest district of karnataka having majority of the area occupied by forest here majority of the students are coming from the very remotest area which s educationally much backward students after class 10th are opting science stream and the district authorities are extending their helping hands for NEET and JE coaching the intiation was taken up by hounarable DC Dr.Rakesh Kumar IAS chairmain of the vidyalaya . Another feature of this Vidyalaya is its attachment with Keln liebls Ltd Antharasanahalli Industrial Area Tumkur. which provides ample scope for the students to interact with the officers and getting oppurtuinty to visit the activities of the Firm another attraction of the school is the close affinity of the beautiful forest and its flora and fauna children are getting every serene and beautiful environment to learn and nurture their innate talents in a pleasent climate. Students are also getting latest educational oppurtunities through ICT facilities of the vidyalaya. We are also working on an innovative approach of Mind Mapping duly recognized by NCERT through which students become more Creative, Critical and Collaborative.
