Short Introduction of the Vidyalaya(its year of inception etc.)

                    In according with National Policy of Education (1986), Govt. of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya all over the country. These are co-educational and residential schools fully financed by the Govt. of India and run by an autonomous organization called Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

 Objective of the Scheme

• To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, including of values, awarness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education of talented children from rural areas without regard to their family"s socio-economic condition.
• To ensure that student attain a reasnable level of competency in three languages as envisage in three Languages Formula. 

           To serve in each district as focal point for improvement of quality of school education in general throuh sharing of facialities and experinces. The establishment of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in each District has heralded a new era in the history of Indian School Education especially due to the residential system on the line of modern public school. The main objectives of the Vidyalayas are :

• To promote National Integration through a specific programme of education.
• To nurture talent particularly in the rural areas and in the weaker section of the socity.
• To provide quality education to the talented children in the villages.
• To establish institutions of high quality at District Level as pace setters.

    Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The track record of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti since its inception in 1986 has set impressive milestone in the field of education in rural India. The Vidyalaya are residential co-educational and fully finenced by the Govt.of India and function through an autonomous organization called the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

    JNV SUKMA-II had been functioning in Chindgarh upto 2015. JNV is Located in Sukma town in front of the District Collectorate, the School functions in the education Hub of the district. Providing comfortable learning spaces. the school could achive its own space in the district academically and non academically. The school maintains codial relationship with its neighbouring schools such as DAV Public School and KV sukma, in all its academic and non academic activities, The atmosphere of the school is quite serene to the leaching and learning process.

   Since its inception in 2009, this Vidyalaya has been a role modal for the other institutions in the District as it has produced excellent result and has earned appreciation for the activities other than academics as well. The Vidyalaya has a fully equipped Computer Wing to impart Computer Education(Std. VI to X).
