JNV Sukma-I is situated at Penta, Teh-Konta, Dist-Sukma (Chhattisgarh). This School is 40 kms away from the District Headquarters Sukma. This School is running at its permanent site. The School got inaugurated on 16th-October-2017 under the patronage of District Administration Sukma.
All the activities of the school are being carried out with full spirit under the guidance of the Principal and Co-operation of all the staff members. Every month the Principal conducts various meetings such as PTC, Academics, Mess ,House etc for the all round development of the Vidyalaya. Various Competitions are being also conducted such as Drama, Debate, Essay writing, Song, Quiz etc to develop competitive spirit among the students. JNVST for 2023-24 will be conducted for this newly opened school with 20% more registration compared to the previous year.
The chairman of the vidyalaya is Hon'ble Shri Haris S., IAS Collector & District Magistrate, Sukma . The VAC Members are Nominee of the Collector-Honourable Shri Haris S, DEO Sukma ,Principal Senior Secondary School Dornapal, Senior Most Teacher JNV Sukma-I and Principal JNV Sukma-I.
