As a Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya II, District- South 24 Parganas, I extend hearty welcome to our Vidyalaya Website.Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya II, Jibantala,South 24 Parganas has been a proved beacon in providing good citizen to the society and above all good human beings with the help of a dedicated team of teaching and Non-teaching staff members who uses the supreme art to awaken joy among young learners in creative expression and knowledge. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya II,Jibantala,South 24 Parganas works on student centric approach which offers rewarding educational experiences to all who choose to focus on excellence. It addresses the contemporary needs of the learners by successfully creating a dynamic environment to trigger learning experiences and awakening the natural curiosity of the young minds and thereby facilitating the art of teaching. It aims at the commitments to nurture and equip young learners with the uncommon ability to become confident, sensitive, socially committed and to develop as an all round individuals.

The objective of navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme as setup by Govt. of India are as follows:-
- To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture,inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education to the talented children predominating from the rural areas without regard to their family's social economic condition.
- To ensure that all students of Navodaya Vidyalaya attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in the Three Languages Formula.
- To serve, in each district as focal points for improvements in quality of school education in general through sharing of experinces and facilities.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya II,South 24 Parganas was established under this scheme in the year 2009 and started functioning in the year 2010.The Vidyalaya is flourishing in all segments like academic, sports, cultural activities, science exhibition etc. The children show-casing their talents in all fields and bring jewels for the Institution.
The Vidyalaya website is a portal documenting and nourshing all the activities of the Vidyalaya.
