It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to JNV, Ravangla, Distt. Namchi Website. This is our earnest endeavour to create an online resource with a motive to share all relevant information about this vidyalaya.

With the support of the well-qualified, trained, learned and dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff, we are passionately and committedly guiding, the next generation to be lifelong learners, critical and creative thinkers, be logical and rational in their conduct, enrich their communicative skills and be productive citizens of the ever changing global society.

Our objective is to realise the vision of the National Educational Policy 2020 which endeavours to create an education system that contributes to an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high quality education to all and to instil skills, values and dispositions that supports responsible commitment to human rights, sustainable development and global well-being thereby reflecting a truly global citizen.

We provide good quality modern education with a strong component of cultural value, environmental awareness and physical education to the talented students particularly from rural areas irrespective of their family's social and economic background. The Vidyalaya provides the amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities to channelize the innate talent and energy of the students for their holistic development.

We believe that there are innate talents in every student, which must be discovered, nurtured, fostered, and developed. These talents may express themselves in the form of varying interests, dispositions, and capacities. Those students that show particularly strong interests and capacities in a given realm must be encouraged to pursue that realm beyond the general school curriculum.

This Vidyalya has been enjoying a well-respected history of providing exceptional educational outcomes and opportunities to the gifted and talented students since 2000 and I hope that with all your support and best wishes the Vidyalaya will reach further heights and pinnacles of glory in the future.
