The 18th Dec, 1994,Monday was the most auspicious day when the foundation stone of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Basantpur, Bansi, Siddharthnagar,U.P was laid down by Hon Shri Arjun Singh, the then ; MHRD Govt. Of India. The school campus covers around 32 acres of village Area. The Schools Building and Staff Quarter etc has been constructed on CPWD pattern. The academic buildings including several classrooms and Different laboratories. The school is located near to kapilavastu.Near By railway station is Naugarh and Bus Stand is Bansi. The nearer International Historical Tourist place is Lumbini, Nepal.
