About JNV Sheikhpura
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sheikhpura, Dist: Sheikhpura was established in 1986 in accordance with NPE, 1985-1986. It is situated in a 20-acre plot in sylvan and serene surroundings with beautiful landscapes in Sheikhpura Town of District- Sheikhpura, Bihar State. The Vidyalaya is at a distance of 2 Kms from Sheikhpura Railway Station and 35 Kms from Kiul Jn.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are fully residential, co-educational schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having classes up to 12 standard. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous Organization under the ministry of HRD, Government of India, manages these Vidyalayas. Admission to these Vidyalayas is through a test called JNVST to Class VI. Children are predominantly from rural areas and there is 30% reservation of girls.
