I feel immense pleasure to introduce PMShri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kotranka, Rajouri ,a co-educational and residential school with the aim of all round development of students' personality equipping them with 21st centuty skills and providing them education as per NEP 2020.PMSHRI School JNV Rajouri is a Vidyalaya under Ministry of Education,Govt.of India where students devote their time and attention for studies,games and sports under the able guidnce of their teachers.The Vidyalaya cares for students with a vision to equip them with qualification, skills, knowledge and attitude which will enable them to thrive in the fast changing world and create a valued personality through education.
Here the students participate in all Vidyalaya activities with discipline and learn the skills which make them capable in forming their career and become a good human being to serve the society.
Welcome to PMSHRI SCHOOL Navodaya Vidyalaya Kotranka, a co-educational residential Vidyalaya situated in District Rajouri in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Established in 1986 in accordance with NPE-1986, this Vidyalaya is spruced up with all the ingredients that titivate it with a conducive and congenial academic environment and make it a modern school worth the name.
Admission to Vidyalayas is made at the class VI level through open test conducted at District level by Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.In class IX and XI vacant seats are filled through LEST (Lateral Entry Selection Test)conducted by CBSE.The Vidyalayas seek to promote and develop talented, bright and gifted children predominantly from rural areas who may otherwise be denied good educational opportunities. The Vidyalaya provides facilities of international standards at no cost, in comparison to equivalent schools both nationally & internationally, with substantial contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
