CLUBS ACTIVITIES

All-round development means mental, physical, psychological, spiritual and vocational development. We cannotachievethisall-rounddevelopmentbyfollowingmereclassroomteaching-learningprocedures.Here the relevance of Club Activities becomes prominent. It is one of the co-curricular activities that are given much importance in our vidyalaya. All students of the vidyalaya needs to be the member of atleast one club and take active part in the club activities under the guidance of the concerned teachers. Principal and the concerned teachers to ensure that all the children are involved in the club activities and each club should emerge as a resource center. All functioning clubs of the vidyalaya should formulate their club activities in the beginning of the academic year after due consultation with the Principal on the availability of time and resources.TheyshouldpreparetheirownclubactivityscheduleandratifythesamefromthePrincipal.Some suggestive club activities are givenbelow:

3	Fine Arts Club	Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Exhibition, Rangoli, Pot making, collage making, Calligraphy, Logo design, Pot decoration.
4	Performing Arts Club (Music and Dance)	Music, Dancing, Fancy Dress, Folk Dance, Folk Songs, Theatre, Dramatics, Sugam Sangeet, Kala Utsav, Rangotsav.
5	Health Club	First-Aid, Red Cross, Aids Day Celebration, World Health day Celebration, Cleanliness
6	Social Science Club	Debate on citizens’ rights and duties, Civic sense- Traffic rules, Awareness- cleanliness, plantation, water and forest conservation, Rally– right to vote, consumer rights, right to information, Debate - current affairs, Quiz, Stamp collection, Coin Collection, Visit to Museums, Archaeological Sites & photography, Data collection- freedom fighters and eminent personalities, Watching history based movies, Historical drama and skit, Symposium, Map skill, Quiz, Scrap book, Organizing important ceremonies, Develop museum corner, Group discussion on historical events etc.
7	Nature’s Club	Visit to Zoo and Botanical garden, Energy Conservation and Waste Management Projects, Flower & Dry Flower arrangement, Important day celebration, Preparation of scrap book on nature, Quiz onnature, Nature’s photography, Preparation of herbarium to know the nature, Collection of data of different Biosphere reserve/ Ecosystem,Project report on natural history, Preparation of chart, Seminars.

N.B. Other functional clubs may decide their targeted activities after organizing club meetings.
