Library is the heart of the JNV. It is essential in teaching and learning for all. It provides information and ideas that are fundamental to function successfully in today’s knowledge society. It helps in equipping students with life-long learning skills enabling them to live as responsible citizens. It offers learning services, books and resources that enable all school members to become critical thinkers and effective users of information in all formats & media. A JNV Library collection must include attractive information books on various subjects, Multimedia resources, Databases, Electronic periodicals and Quality Internet sites. An empowered JNV Librarian should work collaboratively with teachers and students and should be information navigator and mediator, a technology facilitator who teaches information literacy skills and inspire, encourage, and create high quality learning experiences.

Navodaya Vidyalayas in collaboration with Samsung India set up smart classes in 373 JNVs from 2013. A smart class is typically equipped with an interactive Smartboard, laptops/tablets, Wi-Fi connectivity and power backup. A smart class supplements regular lessons in mathematics, science social science, English, and Hindi to explain concepts in an engaging and interactive manner. Teachers are trained to use the equipment effectively.

The Vidyalaya has well equipped laboratories for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computers, where experiments are being conducted for the practical knowledge, experience and competence of the students under the constant guidance of the departmental staff as per day to day classroom activities. The biology lab is maintained with all necessary biological equipments, samples and species for experimental purpose till (10+2)level,including the latest model of compound microscope and profusion of interesting slides.

The chemistry lab is an exceptionally clean and well maintained Lab with every equipments and chemicals are available for performing experiments. The students are allotted their own experiment table and each such table contains every necessary reagent for experimental purpose. The mathematics lab is an exceptionally clean and well maintained Lab with all the maths activities and Geometric components are available.The students are doing innovative and logical activities and it is being kept in this lab.There is always an experience teachers supervising the students with all essential details and encouraging the innovative ideas of students.

The Juniur Science Lab is an integrated lab of interests and curiosities of young children in order to nuture enthusiasum and learn science in daily life in a simple and innovative way at the junior level.

The Vidyalaya developed a Museum Corner over the years, which is reflective of the style of living of the past generation. Pieces of historic and antique value are collected and displayed in the museum corner which gives an insight into the living styles of the past to the students. Things like antiques of the local area with various cultural backgrounds are made available for the museum corner. An exhibition of these items was organized during Heritage Club Inauguration.

The sensitive and expensive electronic components and equipments are kept in lockers to avoid miss use and miss placement. The process of issue and returning of equipments is at the same time strict as well as quick so that the students can devote their maximum time in performing experiments.
