Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Navegaon Khairi, Nagpur-Dist, was established in the year 1986 by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous body which comes under the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Noida. Navodaya Vidyalaya is the dream child of late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, the Ex-Prime Minister of India. This vidyalaya was established in the year 1986 in the hands of the founder Principal Shri. Sanjeev Rao , who had formatted the school in such a way that it continues to be the Jewel of Nagpur district.
The School campus is spread over an area of 46 acres having all amenities to cater to the needs of about 540 students and 45 staff members. The ambiance provided in the school nurtures the rural talent of children of Nagpur district LIC.
This Vidyalaya takes steps to preserve the local Folk Art. Our Vidyalaya is acting as a Pace Setting Institution in the District by extending all co-operation to the neighborhood schools and community. This Vidyalaya is able to maintain the balance between the rural students and the modern quality education.
