Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Rajgir, Nalanda was established in 1987 in accordance with NPE, 1986. It is situated in a 20-acre plot in sylvan and serene surroundings with beautiful landscapes in Rajgir Town of District- Nalanda, Bihar State. The Vidyalaya is at a distance of 0 Km from Rajgir Station and 24 Km from Bihar Sharif District Headquarters.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are fully residential, co-educational schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having classes up to 12 standard. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous Organization under the ministry of HRD, Government of India, manages these Vidyalayas.
