PM SHRI SCHOOL Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bring khera – of Muktsar district of Punjab is situated at a distance of 50 Kms from Muktsar District head quarter and 2 Km from Bring khera Village. It is situated on Muktsar –Dabwali the out skirts of Bring khera Village. On the basis of National Policy of Education (NPE) 1986, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya was established in Bring khera Village in August 1988. Initially it was established in the temporary school building and in 1985, it was shifted to new building in a permanent site. The Vidyalaya has been working under Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Department of Higher Education and School Education, Govt. of India. The Vidyalaya is a co-educational residential school, fully financed by the Govt. of India, through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Education, for us, is not a destination but a journey of discovery, of exploration, of introspection, of interrogation – a journey full of hope, promise and endless possibilities. We are looking at happy children, eager to learn, positive in outlook and ready to take on any and every challenge. We offer a comprehensive academic curriculum which is supported by a system of instruction that is experiential and encourages children to be logical, critical and analytical in thought and in application. Our focus is to reach out to each and every child of the school because each child is unique and every child is precious. The Vidyalaya is basically to encourage and promote talent, pre-dominantly from rural areas and weaker sections of the district and to provide them with quality modern education for their all-round development. The Vidyalaya is a model of pace-setter institution in the district and is resource centre for promotion of excellence.
