Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Rakoli, Distt Mohali is situated on Chandigarh-Ropar national highway near Kurali P.O Jhigran Kalan.The Vidyalaya started functioning in 2009. First batch of students were admitted in the month of January 2010 . The area of the permanent site contains 120 bigha (24 Acre) land which is near Gurdwara Gurpuri and is in Bundh area. The vidyalaya is situated on rivulet bank of Siswan. The vidyalaya is still in its initial stage. It has 501 students on its roll from class 6th to 12th.
