The biology laboratory is a modern research infrastructure, providing a broad range of biological and biochemical techniques with in-depth practical training offered by experienced staff. Important routine work is on microbial and molecular analyses and biological sample preparation in general. JNV Khurda Provides Several special Experiments to be conducted as per PAP from classes-VI to XII. All these techniques ground on long standing expertise and a well-equipped facility (high precision scale, photometers, Fast Prep, Casey Cell counter and more). In addition to the basic tasks such as providing bench space or experimental setups in the constant temperature room, the biological laboratories offers some specialized working areas.

The JNV library offers learning services, books, E-resources, Internet based resources and resources that enable all members of the school community to become critical thinkers and effective users of information in all formats and media. JNV Khurda library is now known as "learning resource centre", "LRC", or "Open Learning Centre". Similarly the school librarian plays a pivotal role in creating a great learning environment in the Vidyalaya’.

Playgrounds can provide different opportunities to stimulate physical development for children of all ages, for example slides and swings promote balance and coordination, climbing frames strengthen their muscles, and tactile panels help with hand-eye skills. JNV Khurda provides Basketball playground separate for both boys and girls. for games like Volleyball, football and badminton playground is provided well equipped with net facility as well as a common large playground for conducting different games and sports event.

JNV Khurda chemistry laboratory is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts studied in the lecture portion of the course, as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking. All practicals an assignments for class IX-XII are performed as per PAP guidelines.

NVS provides Rs.12420/-and additional Rs. 2070/-per student for JNVs at hard and difficult stations to meet mess expenditure including cooking cleaning, washing, daily wages for casual workers an additional 307 per child per month is allocated. This also includes 100 rupees per student per month on account of increase in price of LPG cylinder.

JNV Khurda provides two E-Classrooms like Computer lab and Smart Class that is a solution designed to help teachers in meeting with new challenges and developing students abilities. It helps the teachers to access multimedia content and information ,that can be used for teaching students more effectively. It helps the teachers in expressing their views and ensures teacher that every student is understanding and learning. Smart Class helps the students in understanding the concepts. A well designed module allows a student to visualise the concept much better than static images.

Physics laboratory is a place where experiments of Physics are carried out. As we know physics is that branch of science where experimentation is an integral part of the core subject. Almost in every educational institution these physics laboratories are found. Nonetheless the sophistication of the educational laboratory varies from institute to institute.
