ART IN EDUCATION

             JNV,Kendrapara. Odisha is proud and privileged enough to organise a workshop on the theme,”JAL HI JEEVAN HAI”, for making a Youth Choir under Art in Education Programme, assigned by NVS., RO,Bhopal (MP).

                The Workshop was inaugurated on 03.11.2019 and closed up on 20.11.2019 under able guidance of Guru Shri Laxmikant Palit, eminent Music Composer of Odisha with two other asst. resource persons Shri, Sarat Kumar Pani and Shri Ajay Kumar Pradhan. The students of this Vidyalaya took part in this workshop with a great enthusiasm and made themselves excellent to give performance in any great programmes. All the Gurus were cordial to teach the students to bring out the perfection among them. This was a great effort to integrate the taught art into education among the pupils.

                 Primarily, there were fifty students in this workshop with the theme song, ”JAL HI JEEVAN HAI”, which was written by Smt. Anvita Tripathy and music composed by Guru Shri Laxmikant Palit. The students were well trained up by the Gurus with the venue Music Teacher Shri S.Mallik and practised throughout the sessions of the workshop. The workshop came to an end by framing 20 students in this choral group which had gone to take part in RI Meet-2019 at JNV, Burhanpur (MP).

1. 18 no. of Students (girls & boys) participated in Group song competition at JNV Mundali, Cuttack in Kala utsav.
2. 20 no. of students participated in regional integration meet in Burhanpur and secured 2^nd position
