It is an honour and privilege to be the Principal of JNV Karnal , the school that stands for excellence in academic , sports and others co- curricular activities and continuously sets the highest standards .The school that has given not only ideal citizens to this country but also many distinguished personalities in diverse fields to serve the Nation. I , being the Head of the institution ,am determined to empower my students not only with knowledge but also good character, to achieve desired goal in all aspects of life.  Our motto ‘Goodness before Greatness’ is implemented through all the endeavors, be it education or culture.  We believe in creativity, innovation and development to the fullest.  The little ones are our treasures and we find ourselves fortunate to serve them.  We give them strong roots and stronger wings to fly the world over carrying the message of ‘Service before Self.’

The importance of education in the life of an individual cannot be overstated. It shapes individuals in their formative years and imbues them with values that would govern all their choices in life. It is said ‘If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people’. Indeed, one can even say that the quality of education will determine the destiny of the Nation. 

As per my opinion , Education does not mean providing answers. It means equipping the pupil with the means to find the answers for himself and within himself. Education empowers students to discover themselves – who they are as people. Within each student is a doctor, an engineer, a teacher, a social activist, a sports person, an environmentalist, a poet, an author or an economist. 

Over the years in this school, I have witnessed in our students an unparalleled knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism, an acute consciousness about the world around them, a focused ambition and a sustained commitment. I am also fortunate to have an experienced and committed team, which has brought the school to its present stature. I, along with my team of silent workers and dedicated faculty, intend to build on this strong foundation and raise the standards in all spheres, to the zenith. My aim is not only to be an able administrator but also to be a friend, philosopher and guide to students one whom they can count on and trust at all times.
