E-Pledge Against Drugs & Vigilance Awareness Week-Pledge

The Department of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) being the premier drug law enforcement agency of the country has been tirelessly working to free our country from the clutches of the drug menace. It is also entrusted with the responsibility of spreading awareness against the ill effects of drugs. It is felt that the fight against drugs will only be successful if there is a participation of each individual. To achieve the aforesaid goal, an e-pledge titled “Say yes to Life, No to Drugs” has been up-loaded on the website mygov.in. & Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) is being celebrated every year and coincides with the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known to be a man of high integrity. ... The purpose of Vigilance Awareness Week is to generate awareness in the public at large about the ill effects of corruption.
