 Dear friends Greetings from  JNV Jhabua-I Family

 I express my heart- felt gratitude to NVS authorities to provide me an opportunity to serve with rural talented children of tribal district of Jhabua (MP). Now a days, the role of school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower it's students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive stakeholders of an ever-changing global society. In the year 1986,our former prime minister late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi introduced a vision to transform the education level of rural talented children of the country. The school that is being run under the aegis of Ministry of Education under the able administration of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti .

At JNV Jhabua 1, we provide an atmosphere to our talented students for their well-rounded development where these rural children   are encouraged to channalize their potential in the pursuit of excellence . This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combined with academics and Co-curricular activities among the children.Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens at home, between home and school too.  Being residential set up, students feel in their dormitories like home away from home School’s mission, therefore, is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners.

 Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. At JNV Jhabua-I , we aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds with broad perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the global society .The School, by deepening a sense of wonder, reverence, creativity, fidelity, communication, openness and charity to one other and to the whole world, seeks to work for the transformation of the complete person.

 Here students’ knowledge horizons are broadened through experimental learning.We insist that our children are well- equipped with 21st century skills to face challenges of future.Here, the curriculum and pedagogy is designed to be strongly rooted in the Indian and local context and ethos in terms of culture, tradition, heritage, custom etc. we focus on traditional and indigenous ways of learning blended with latest technology, Ideas, abstractions and creativity will indeed best flourish amongst our students and teachers when learning is, thus rooted.

Parents of course, play a pivotal role in teaching – learning process and we as an educational institution believe in building strong relationship  with the parents and society to achieve the curricular goals mentioned in NCF – SE- 2023.     

It is my convietion that PM Shri Jhabua -1 will constantly move ahead on the path of progress and development and will leave no stone unturned to achieve the goals laid down by NVS.
