Clubs are aimed at providing a platform for the children to not only showcase their talent, but also
gain more knowledge in the chosen subject. The various Club Activities held for children of Grades 6
to 12 across different subjects during  the academic year 2024-25 culminated on 1st
April.
The English. The audience was enthralled by the play and was motivated to be patriotic
towards their own motherland too. ‘Civic Society’, the Social Studies club presented a glimpse of the
day-to-day issues of the society, with programmes like mime and skit that focused on social evils like
corruption, gender inequality and also awareness on a few schemes and laws introduced by the
Government.
The Hindi club aimed at inculcating creativity in the Hindi language in terms of spoken and
written communication skills that in turn contributes to the overall personality development in the
child. The children not only involved themselves in composing short stories and poems, but also
used their imagination to create and present a few on the topic Holi.
The English club, ‘Literary Quills’ was aimed at fostering language skills in children an enjoyable
manner. The club members were housed in five groups representing famous English writers, viz.,
Sarojini Naidu, Ruskin Bond, Charles Dickens, Sudha Murthy and J.K. Rowling. Each group made
charts about their respective authors and some came dressed as the respective writers. They recited
poems, quizzed the audience with short riddles, spoke about the importance of English in today’s
world, to name a few.
The main aim of the Mathematics Club aptly called Ramanujan was to promote the applications of
Math in daily life and also help develop higher order thinking in children. Students exhibited
activities that demonstrated solid concepts through brain gym, solved puzzles and worksheets
created by the children themselves! Flora and Fauna or the Science club helped familiarize students
with scientific research by giving them an opportunity to explore Science through hands-on
experiments. The team was divided into four groups’ viz., Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
Biochemistry, involving students in scientific activities under the supervision and guidance of Science
faculty. Club activity content added here
