1.Teacher’s Training:Workshops are being organized regularly for the teachers in order to train them to incorporate ICT in effective teaching. In these workshops teachers were trained to use Interactive Board/LED, Laptops equipped with latest Operating systems like Windows 8 and Linux-Ubuntu and Tablets. The teachers were also given training to use various quality resources available on internet like NROER, CIET, NCERT; for their content enrichment to make their teaching more qualitative. A user Id for each teacher on NROER has already been created for free access of the useful resource sharing in the national level repository.

2. Smart Learning for Students: The smart learning tool (software package) containing study material as per CBSE syllabus has been installed in the Smart Class Room and the students of 6th to 10th Class are being taught through the same. The software package contains comprehensive educational resources related to CBSE syllabus along with question-answer database. A separate time-table has also been charted out to implement the same effectively.

3. ICT integration and enhancing Quality of Education: Assessment of Speaking and Listening (ASL) for CBSE 9th and 10+1 Class is being facilitated through FOSS i.e. Audacity; as the students as well as the language teachers have been trained to use the tool. Teachers are using the online educational resources to optimum level to enhance the quality of knowledge dissemination by incorporating multi-media (text, images, audio and video) to address the need of teaching learning process for more effectiveness. ICT tools are being facilitated for preparation of projects of various subjects for Cluster as well as regional level exhibitions. The requisite exposure of Internet to students has been provided in order to access High order thinking (HOTs) question bank on respective subjects. Students have also been encouraged to take up online tests to cement the concepts learnt.

Planning of ICT for the Session 2024-25 As computer has revolutionized education, it is important for all of us to know the proper functioning of the computers. The teacher, who is the hub of all teaching learning activities, must know the operator of computer with a view to make the learning process more effective and interesting.

During the academic session 2024-25 following activities will be

organized to strengthen ICT in JNV,Mankapur,Gonda.

• To assist the teachers in preparing lesson plans with the help of computer.
• Assisting Maths, Science and language teachers in showing CDs related to their respective subjects.
• To assist CCA & Pace-Setting In charges in making complete documents related to various activities.
• The students will be shown CDs related to Protecting Flora and Fauna.
• Motivating the students to watch Encarta Encyclopedia Software in the computer System.
• Keeping the teachers abreast of knowledge regarding CDs related to Career & Guidance and of latest information, changes in syllabus or any sort of information will be immediately given to teachers from time to time through Internet.
• Motivating the teachers and students to start developing the projects related to different subjects.

DEVELOPING COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Suggestions made by NVS under the categories will be taken up seriously at grass root level is and when a learner gets admitted in our school it is a moral  duties of all the subject teachers to teach them with bilingual approach . Learner should be focused not only in class but also out side the class   room.  Different   activities will be organized   fortnightly and weekly along with other program as per NVS suggestions.
