JNV Doda has Handball playground and it hosts Cluster Level Handball Championship every year. The students from all clusters of jammu region took part in this game and they enjoyed as this area falls under the hilly mountains. This vidyalaya also has has volleyball ground, Badminton Court, Kho-kho ground and kabaddi ground.

OUR VIDYALAYA HAS TWO MESS SEPARATELY FOR BOYS AND GIRLS. ALL THE STUDENTS TOOK THEIR MEAL IN THE MESS.

JNV DODA HAS FOUR HOSTELS FOR BOYS AND 3 HOSTELS FOR GIRLS SEPARATELY. BOYS HOSTELS ARE AS ARAVALLI, NEELGIRI, SHIVALIK AND UDAIGIRI AND GIRLS HOSTEL ARE AS JUNIOR GIRLS AND SENIOR GIRLS HOSTEL.

The laboratory provides the students with all sorts of facilities, ranging from specimens to innovative smart boards. The laboratory is quite spacious and is creatively decorated by the students. We have permanent anatomical slides of plants. The lab consists of simple and compound microscopes for the students to focus and study slides. The ratio of these microscopes per student is fairly high. We have measuring devices, like analytical balance. Also the laboratory has a variety of apparatus for physiological and ecological experiments, like water bath, oven and Digital PH Meter. We have fire extinguishers in case of an emergency. The laboratory is well supplied with chemicals, and equipped abundantly with thermometers and other apparatus for students to carry out their experiments. Through experiments, students are able to gain firsthand knowledge and appreciate various concepts of biology.

Physics is an experimental science. The theoretical concepts and relationships introduced in the lecture part of the course describe the general nature and behavior of real phenomena. They were, appropriately, discovered by (or inducted from) careful observation and thoughtful analysis of actual experiments. Genuine understanding entails being able to relate the abstract ideas to the particular facts to which they correspond. The premise of the scientific method is that (observation of) nature is the ultimate judge of the truth of any physical theory. Indeed, experiments designed to prove certain ideas have often ended up showing them to be wrong. Consequently, all physical concepts must be verified experimentally if they are to be accepted as representing laws of nature.
