Principal's Message

                                                                      PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

Modification of behavior is learning. Residential set up provides ample opportunity for such modifications. Psychological studies have revealed , a child has the maximum , capacity and optimum possibility to learn , while he is still at the primary stage or in the age group of 6- 10 . Home and Society have a very powerful impact in shaping the behavior patterns of a child. The child finds entry in Navodaya Vidyalaya while he is in the age group of 9-13 . Hence, the task before the school is more challenging.  The explosion of knowledge and expansion of media, have not left the child a blank slate of a flexible cane. He possesses the ability to analyze and observe. Giving him proper direction and channel zing his energy in right direction requires a lot of patience, sympathy and concern. This task requires a team of dedicated, matured an intelligent teachers.

School is a part of society and can not remain isolated from it. The transition is society is also reflected in school. Moreover ushering in from the traditional and superstitious society into 21st century developed society with universal human values is the greatest challenge before the country and so for the school.

Distraction of mind by materialistic and sensual allurements is deviating the younger generation from their track. Achievement level of students is lowered by these distractions. How to train, the younger generation is the challenge. Making students realize that school days are a preparation for life; a life with prosperity, and abounding in human sympathies and values . It is a time to train the mind to overcome confusion and to look straight forward. It is the time to fix life goals and to canalize his energies for the achievement of these goals. If this is achieved, half of the work is done.

The next step is the mobilization of resources. These may be human recourses or material resources. A team of good teachers have now the responsibility to carry these motivated students. Only then, he can keep pace with time. The teacher must be in touch with latest developments in the field of his subject. Only maturity in age and years will not make teacher effective. The weakness must be overcome to become effective as a subject teacher. Dedication to duty and will to work are qualities, which can be adopted at any age. With the help of library books, Computer CDs and other teaching aids, the teacher can be more effective and task becomes easier and interesting.

J.N.V. SARDARSHAHAR, CHURU caters to the educational needs of mostly rural talented children of Distt. - CHURU. The school has a total strength 521 (186 Girls and 335 Boys) .The result of the school have been better during the proceeding year. In games and sports also the school has excelled in N.V.S Jaipur region. The young players of this Vidyalaya have represented Jaipur region at the National and S.G.F.I. Making the students and staff target oriented channelizing their energies in the right direction and formation of right kind of attitude are some of the possible ways , which may help the school to achieve its target.

Introduction

In accordance with the National policy of Education 1986, Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) all over the country except Tamilnadu. These are co-educational, residential schools, fully financed by government of India and run by an Autonomous Organisation, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Presently the JNVs are spread in 28 states and 8 Union Territories. The medium of instruction is mother tongue or regional language up to class VIII and English thereafter, for Mathematics, and Science. Though admission to these Vidyalayas is at class VI level, in order to optimally utilize infrastructure facilities available, vacant seats at class IX level are filled through an All India Level Selection Test. While education is free in the Schools including board & lodging, uniforms and textbooks, a nominal fee of Rs.600/- per month will be collected from the Children from IX to XII class. However, children belonging to ST/SC, girls and from the families whose income is below poverty line are exempted from payment of fee.

Students of JNVs appear for X and XII class Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
