In Navodaya Vidyalaya arts education develops students who are self driven and motivated as they are often the toughest critics of their own work. Art in education is one of the most important field of educational research & practice informed by investigation with learning through arts experiences. Though Arts in education students express themselves better, are able to think creatively and arts as an important element for developing the fine motor skills of the children. Arts in education teaches students how to make choices based on it. The Art strengths problem solving and critical     skills.

        In our vidyalaya a large no. of activities like performing arts education(dance, drama, music), literature and poetry,  storytelling, Visual arts education in film, crafts, design, digital arts, media and photography are performed under Art education program so that the objectives of Art in education are full filled. Being a pace setting institution, the neighbouring schools are also invited in Art in education activities conducted at Vidyalaya level.
