२० दिसंबर, १९९४ सबसे शुभ दिन था जब जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय, वारासिवनी, बालाघाट की आधारशिला रखी गई थी। स्कूल परिसर लगभग ३१.४ एकड़ के मैदान में फैला हुआ है जिसमें एक विशाल मैदान है जिसमें इसकी इमारतें खड़ी और घुमावदार रास्तों से जुड़ी हुई हैं और भेंट चढ़ाते हैं। हर मोड़ पर शानदार नज़ारे। इन इमारतों में आधुनिक अत्याधुनिक बुनियादी ढांचा और नव-नवीनीकृत छात्र छात्रावास और स्टाफ हाउस शामिल हैं। कई कक्षाओं सहित शैक्षणिक भवन एक कंप्यूटर नेटवर्क से जुड़े हुए हैं। स्मार्ट कक्षाओं में व्यापक वाईफाई नेटवर्क आधुनिक शैक्षिक दुनिया से जुड़ने और दूरियों को कम करने का एक शानदार अवसर प्रदान करता है और कर्मचारियों, छात्रों और प्रशासन को एक दूसरे के साथ त्वरित और आसान संपर्क में रखता है। विद्यालय नीलगिरी के पेड़ों के पेड़ों से घिरा हुआ है और इसमें एक स्वारस्वती मंदिर है जो परिसर के चारों ओर एक सकारात्मक माहौल फैलाता है और छात्रों के लिए एक अच्छा माहौल बनाता है।
