JNV Barun, Aurangabad is located at Barun village on Barun Nabinagar national highway by the side of Sone River. It is a beautiful school with lush green campus. It has around 35 acers of lands. It is approachable by road/rail. The nearest railway station Dehri-on-sone is at a distance of 7 KM. The nearest airport is Patna/Gaya (150Km/100KM).The vidyalaya has very good infrastructure, which incude academic and administrative blocks, Boys and girls hostels, mess and dining hall and 42 staff residences. It has a maximum intake capacity of 560 students. It is a coeducational and fully residential school. The vidyalaya offers double sections of science stream (80 students) at +2 level affiliated to CBSE.
